Did you know that Circle K International (CKI) and Key Club International — the Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs for university and secondary students, respectively — have their own weeklong celebrations?
During CKI Week (CircleK.org/Events/CKI-Week), October 16-21, CKI members will highlight the power of leadership, fellowship and the service they do on college campuses and in communities around the world. In fact, of all Kiwanis family programs, CKI members perform the most community service hours per member!
From November 6-10, it’s Key Club’s turn (KeyClub.org/Events/KeyClubWeek)! Each day of Key Club Week corresponds to an activity — from completing random acts of kindness to displaying Key Club pride — that spreads the word about Key Club’s commitment to student leadership and community service.
Ask your sponsored CKI Clubs and Key Clubs how your Kiwanis Club can help with their week of events.
Kiwanis International is continuing a tradition established in Kiwanis magazine by producing an issue about the organization’s leaders — and your own leadership potential — as the new service year begins. Watch your mailbox in October. You’ll receive a leadership issue that features a profile of 2023-24 Kiwanis International President Katrina Baranko, information about the Kiwanis family boards of trustees and more — including tips about leadership for all members.
