The Ray-Ban Meta glasses enable users to be able to navigate independently, read text, identify objects and connect with volunteers through Be My Eyes. With a simple voice command, the teens can call a Be My Eyes volunteer that will ‘see-through’ the camera of the smart glasses and provide audible feedback directly through the open-ear speakers. The teens reported they can read menus at restaurants, take photos and videos to connect on social media and easily communicate with family through phone calls. Have you seen the amazing work that the Fort Myers Metro-McGregor Kiwanis has done for teens with low-version or who are blind. They worked with the The Florida Kiwanis Foundation and Lighthouse of SWFL to provide ten Ray-ban Meta glasses.
